Robert Kaslik was appointed to FireSense Managing Director in January 2024. Rob has had a long working relationship with FireSense Founders & Owners, David & Martin Callus, and has been a trusted leader within their businesses over many years. During the establishment of FireSense, Rob had a prominent role leading new sales & the supply of high level fire systems to government defence projects, commercial high rise, hospitals, data centres, infrastructure & specialist HLI systems.
Rob’s earlier technical, sales & management experience at Notifier, Inertia Fire Systems and Phillips ensures that he understands the industry & challenges faced by FireSense customers, and can provide the highest level of expertise and service. As Managing Director, Rob oversees operations of approx. 80 staff across 3 FireSense branches in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Luke Schweizer is the Chief Financial Officer of FireSense. With a Bachelor of Business in Accounting & CPA Qualifications, Luke has worked in the manufacturing and service environments for over 20 years. Throughout his career, he has also performed as a State Manager leading service and sales technicians, which has allowed him to confidently make commercial and business decisions. Luke specialises in cost and management accounting, ensuring efficiency and accuracy within FireSense, from purchasing right through to delivery.
David Callus is a Founding Owner & Executive Director of FireSense. With an electronics and finance background, David has dedicated his working career to the Fire Safety industry and is responsible for numerous iconic developments in Australia, as well as the development of industry leading companies and brands. David is currently celebrating over 30 years of independent ownership of fire technology companies in Australia and has contributed to many Australian Standards Committees & Industry Panels over the years.
In 2024 David appointed his long serving General Manager, Robert Kaslik, to the position of Managing Director. As a major shareholder in the family company, David continues to support the business as Executive Director with a focus on future investments and board level initiatives.

Martin Callus is a Founding Owner & Executive Director of FireSense and has worked within the Fire industry for over 25 years. Martin has extensive experience in global procurement, design, manufacturing & logistics and ensures that high quality, yet cost effective products are delivered to best in class standards. Martin is instrumental in the quality control of the FireSense cable range, always ensuring that industry standards & customer requirements are met or exceeded.
As a major shareholder in the family company, Martin is also actively involved in future investment and board level initiatives.
