FireSense have always strived to update our cable range and our certification to not only meet relevant Australian standards, but to also be environmentally friendly by adhering to PVC Best Practice Guidelines.
FireSense are proud to be committed, certified & approved to the Green Building Council of Australia Best Practice Certification program, which is reflected through our production process. We only use environmentally friendly PVC resins.
Â
In the last 6 months we have improved the quality of our TPS cable range with the addition of a new 'easy-to-tear' outer sheath as well as new labelling requirements to reflect AS1670.2015 standards which state that 'LV' markings must be at intervals that do not exceed 2 metres.
Â
In addition to these changes, we have also added a Fire Rated 1.50mm2Â 2 core cable with a white stripe to our range, reflecting AS1670.2015 which requires all cables that are LV (EWIS speaker circuits) to have a white stripe to differentiate from ELV circuits.

All three of our FireSense branches were proud to once again support Jersey Day on 2nd September 2016, a concept aimed to raise awareness about organ donation and the DonateLife Network.
Jersey Day has been created and inspired by the story of Nathan Gremmo, whose life was lost in an accident in May 2015. The Gremmo family chose to give the gift of life to others through organ donation to honour the legacy of Nathan's generous personality.
On this day Australians are encouraged to wear their favourite sports jersey to school or work to pay tribute to Nathan's life, and to continue awareness about organ donation.
