To meet Australian Standard installation requirements, FireSense offers an isolator base (model SSF-ISOBASE) to replace the standard detector base for use with 2800 & 3030 Series analog addressable fire alarm systems.
Isolator bases must be strategically positioned throughout the addressable loop cabling as per Standards requirements. The isolator base will disconnect the section of the loop between short circuit isolators in the event of a short circuit to prevent the entire loop from being disabled.
Up to 40 detectors/modules may be installed between two isolator bases. Available in White and Ivory.
