The SSF-A-851R is a FlashScan analog addressable combination fixed point and rate of rise (ROR) thermal detector for use with 2800 & 3030 Series Fire Alarm panels.
FlashScan supports 159 detectors per Loop. Detectors will also run on 2800 & 3030’s in CLIP mode or older FireSense/Notifier panels together with CLIP devices with maximum address restricted to 99.
For 2800 panels, the detector sensitivity can be programmed in the control panel software. The activation threshold is continuously monitored and reported to the panel. Address setting on detectors is via two convenient dials on the base of the detector.
The SSF-A-851R detectors include a reed switch which can be activated with a test magnet for ease of testing.
