This stand alone EWS is ideal for use in existing fire alarm installations that require the addition of an EWS amplifier to meet code requirements. The stand alone EWS unit has its own 240V power supply and battery charging capabilities.

For emergency situations, the EWS supports stand-alone operation with automatic change-over from the alert tone and spoken message to the evacuate tone and a different message, cascading through the various zones as configured. Operator controlled speech push buttons and an in-built microphone can be used for making emergency public address announcements.

For every day use, the EWS provides two audio inputs (e.g. background music, paging). Area-selectable paging uses a remote paging console with integrated microphone and optional 100V Switching Module(s) to direct the paging announcement to different areas.
