This product is not mechanically armed and will require mechanical protection, e.g. steel conduit, in cable trays or concealed in the ground.

Optical multimode OM3 and enhanced OM4 fire resistant mono-tube fibre optic cables feature heat resistant mica tape, glass yarn reinforcement, and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) UV resistant jacket. This provides circuit integrity for up to 2 hours under fire conditions, tested to IEC 60331-25. Suitable for life safety and fire alarm applications requiring continued operation during fire exposure.
OM3 and OM4 fibre cables are compatible with each other; however, overall link performance (distance/bandwidth) will be limited to OM3 specifications.
