VESDA-E remote displays are designed for status monitoring and reporting of VESDA-E aspirating smoke detectors; they also retain backward compatibility with VESDA Legacy (VLP) products. Remote displays can be installed as part of new VESDA-E systems or retrofitted to existing systems. 

The remote display eliminates the need to gain physical access to the detectors. Smoke detection systems may be located in areas where access is restricted due to biological or security reasons such as medical or pharmaceutical facilities, mission - critical infrastructure or prisons. Remote monitoring with VESDA-E display modules eliminates the need for physical access to the VESDA detector. This means the detector can be located in difficult to access, limited or restricted access areas, but still be closely monitored and maintained.

Users can incorporate extra relays or streamline extensive networks of VESDA units, allowing communication to the panel without needing to wire individual detectors.
