Requires VESDA ModBus HLI Network Card (VHX-1420-HFS), Network Card & System Relay Module (VRT-S07).
- Communicates with the VHX-1420-HFS using Modbus protocol via RS-232 cables
- Supervises the communications to the VHX-1420-HFS
- Monitors up to 100 detectors
- Displays VESDA devices as type “Aspiration” on the display nodes
- Monitors VESDAnet detector events from NCA-2 or ONYXWorks, configured for Network Display Mode
- Controls VESDAnet detector functions from NCA-2 or ONYXWorks, configured for Network Display Mode
- Performs Read Status of VESDAnet detectors from NCA-2 or ONYXWorks configured for Network Display Mode

The VESDA Gateway provides a communication link between the NOTI•FIRE•NET™ network and the Xtralis™ VESDAnet network.
The VESDA-HLI-GW connects to the standard NOTI•FIRE•NET™ or high-speed NOTI•FIRE•NET™ and enables event notification and control of devices on the VESDAnet through a supervised VHX-1420-HFS Communications module.
The VHX-1420-HFS provides an interface with the VESDAnet. The VHX-1420-HFS translates protocols used on the VESDAnet to the Modbus protocol.
Event notifications for up to 100 VESDA detectors are displayed on the fire network annunciators with a device type of “Aspiration.” Control can be initiated from these annunciators.
